Minesto looking for Control System Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop together with Minesto in the long term. You will be working in the Concept Group based in Gothenburg but also close to our Control colleagues in Northern Ireland and Wales.

The work consists of designing and program sophisticated control systems followed with simulation, testing and debug of control systems in-house. Commissioning of Deep Green devices at our different sites is also a part or the role, in that case as control expert in an experienced team.

Minesto has several control platforms and you will work with all of them. We use embedded system for our devices: PLC in our generator and motor test rig, user interface in SCADA and data acquisition and processing in Phyton.

Most of the work will be performed in Gothenburg, but the role also include work activities at the other Minesto sites located in Wales, Northern Ireland and Taiwan.

You have:

• A technical education at the Bachelors or Master of Science degree in engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in the design and production of automation and controls systems. Experience from different industries preferred.
• 8+ years of experience developing PLC, HMI and SCADA systems. Using different field bus types such as EtherCat, Canbus, Profinet etc.
• Professional experience with Servers, Visual Studio, C, Python, SQL databases, Virtual Machines & VMW is preferred.
• Professional experience in motor servo system and frequency converters.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink products and interest to be an expert.
• Experience with reading electrical schematic CAD (EPlan, AutoCAD, etc).
• Experience of leading teams.

Minesto is an international company and it is therefore important that you master both Swedish and English.

Driving license is a requirement.
