The MaRINET2 project which is coordinated by MAREI (Marine and Renewable Energy Ireland) and funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, has awarded 1.3 million euros to 34 technology development teams through a competitive call for proposals. The project offers offshore technology developers a chance to test their devices in several different research facilities around Europe and also in real sea conditions. Marinet2 is the succesor of Marinet, an earlier project which ran between 2011-2015.
